Advertise on "Greyhounds Make Great Pets"
"Greyhounds Make Great Pets" (GMGP) is now accepting advertising spots for those who provide services or products for greyhound owners and pet lovers around the world. Advertising on GMGP will expand your selling base and introduce you to new and varied clients, interested in the latest in pet related products.

GMGP is an internet based radio show that is produced weekly and can be downloaded at www.greyhoundsmakegreatpets.org for your listening enjoyment. New shows are posted to the GMGP website every Monday and previous broadcasts are archived on the site at all times. We recently moved to our own studios and are now in full control of our on air time, production and editing. Thus your advertising segments will be available to our listeners 24/7.

Advertising information:
GMGP can produce a 30-60 second commercial for you. The advertiser needs only to supply basic information. You can contract for a single show or block of four shows.

Old Fella Senior Fund
The Greyhound Angel Network is proud to announce the formation of the Old  Fella Senior Fund.
This fund has been designed to provide financial assistance for greyhounds 10 years and older who may face medical conditions that result in higher veterinary care costs.  Although we are aware that in many arenas the age for a senior greyhound begins at 8 years, we felt that the older ones often face other challenges not necessarily seen in 8 and 9 year olds.
The Old Fella Senior Fund was named in honor of the beloved greyhound fellow, Old Fella, that touched the hearts of so many greyhound lovers.  This is truly a heartbreaking story that luckily has a happy ending.  For those who are not familiar with the story of Old Fella, or perhaps are looking for an update, please visit the Heart of Texas Greyhound Adoption website:  www.heartoftexasgreyhounds.com/oldfella.htm

Old Fella will also be the first recipient of funds through this special project as he continues to face some medical challenges due to his advanced age and treatment prior to entering the HOT program.  His extended greyhound family, his adoption group, would like to offer him some alternative care, acupuncture and chiropractic treatments, but they need some help in order to do so.  This wonderful boy deserves all the love and care possible so please help us help him.  For more current photos of Old Fella please visit the Greyhound Angel Network at: www.greyhoundvillage.com

The Old Fella Senior Fund will be an ongoing project and donations will always be accepted for it.  Many of us have opened our homes to senior greyhounds and found that they have touched our hearts and lives in some very special ways.  Your generosity will allow us to offer support to these gentle souls when they need us most.

Be sure to specify that your donation is for the Old Fella Senior Fund.  Requests and distribution of funds will be subject to the same guidelines as all other requests and donations through the Greyhound Angel Network.
